We’ve moved to Windows 10 and the program that we developed starts to raise exception error if it shows any form that includes a Spread 8 -COM component. This problem doesn’t happen if the user execute our program with Administrator privilege. I tried to create a very simple program with just a dialog and Spread 8-COM component and it suffers the same problem.

Have anyone seen this problem and do you have any solution to fix it?

    Thanks,

    SN

    Hello,

This is an issue related to all ActiveX component on Windows 10 I believe. You can check for other COM components. You may turn off the UAC and try to run the application.

    Thanks,

Thanks Deepack. Do you know any way to make Windows to allow this component beside turning of UAC?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I don’t find any other way to get this work because it is controlled by OS.

    Thanks,
