  Hi,

  Is there a way we can add an icon in the spreadSheet name? Something like this:

  spread.sheet[0].name(“Test Name”);

  Hello,

  There looks to be no direct way to set an icon in the SheetTab, I have submitted an enhancement request for this. The tracking id for this is 268481.
  
  This may get added in the future version of SpreadJS.

  Hello,

  Our development team would like to know more about your use case. Why do you need the icon in sheet name on Sheet tab, is it just for the UX design or is there any other business requirement?

  The requirement is to have close in a single click rather. A close icon at the end of the sheet name. And more over if the context menu is disabled (allowContextMenu = false), then I don’t think there is a way to close the tab.

  We do not need context menu, but we have multitabs. So if we are able to provide an icon in the sheet name, we will bind an event to this icon and use it to close the tab.

  Thank you for providing the required information.
  
  But there is no option to close the sheet, you can only hide/unhide/delete/insert a sheet using the sheettab context menu.

  May I know how exactly you want to close the sheet tab?

  1. Context Menu on the tabs cannot be seen if we hide the context menu on the sheet. So we are unable to close the tab (delete).
  2. Also we need the close in a single click, rather than opening a context menu and then closing it.

  Hello Pavan,

  In a SpreadSheet(SpreadJS or Excel) there is no option to close the sheet. You can only make a sheet active/inactive/hidden/visible.

  What do you want to achieve on click on this “x” (close) icon?

  It has been accepted as an enhancement request for future version of SpreadJS.
  
  For now, using the context menu to hide/unhide sheets is the option for you.
