We are upgrading from Spread 6 to 10 and are running our website in IE with compatibility mode set. The Farpoint grid renders fine, but we cannot edit any data in the grid. It lets the user click in a cell and edit the cell, but as soon as they tab out it reverts the data back to what it was and then doesn’t allow the user to click and edit any other cell in the grid. When compatibility mode is not set, the grid will allow edits fine. We need to run our internal websites with compatibility mode on though. Is this possible with Farpoint 10 or do we need to revert back to a previous version? We are developing in Visual Studio 2017.

    Hello,

I am not able to replicate this issue at my end. I tested it with the IE11 compatibility mode I created the application with VS2015.

Please have a look at the attached sample application.

You can download the latest build of Spread v10 and test from here:

We were able to pinpoint the error in the code to this line within the Farpoint library.

    Hello,

I am not able to replicate this issue at my end with the sample application I provided to you. Also looking at the images you have shared, it seems you have other third party control on this page as well. Have you checked whether it is an issue created by Spread or other control?

    Thanks,

    Deepak Sharma
