Best Fit for Printing options

    Hi,

I have spread who's columns grow at runtime. I need to print this to pdf. Is there a way to set a best fit always so that the zoom factor adjusts automatically to always display a single pdf sheet only. Currently when my spread exceeds certain number of columns the pdf displays the rest in another sheet.

I can still adjust the zoom factor property for print Info, but cannot decide the zoom factor for the current number of columns/rows.

Please suggest ways of achieving the above.

    Regards,

    Berry

The best means would be to use smart printing.

In the PrintInfo object for your sheet set UseSmartPrint to true, PrintPagesWide and PrintPagesTall to 1 and if you like you can adjust the SmartPrintRules to your liking. By default the sheet will go through a series of adjustments to attempt to fit. It will modify to a landscape print, best fit the row and columns and then scale if need be. You can code your own SmartPrintRules and do only the scaling if you'd like.
