Change Filter behavior on existing filters...

    I have a question about changing the behavior of filters.

    I'd like to change the behavior of existing filters rather than write a customer filter.   As I understand it, I can write a new filter that appears in the filter dropdown (such as "Starting with A...") with custom logic that will only show rows that start with "A".

    However, I'm looking instead to overwrite the behavior of the existing auto filters.  To be more specific, imagine I have a column with the values "A, B & C" in the rows.   "A, B & C" appear in the filter dropdown.   

    I don't want to add a new filter (i.e. "Starting with A....), but rather I want to change the behavior of filter "A" when it is selected, so that I can do some customer logic for choosing which rows to filter.

    Anyone know of a way to do this, or do I have to add three new customer filters for "A, B & C".

    Hello,

    It would not be possible to modify the basic filtering criteria of the items in the filter dropdown list, in case you want to perform any kind of custom filtering you would need to add your own custom filters to the dropdownlist.
