Hi,

I am using spread 2.5 version for Win Forms, There is a combo box cell type in the spread which gets populated during run time, now when a user press ctrl- x in the combo box, the selected text is not getting cleared,

I cannot make the cell editable, is there any way by which ctrl- x should work without making the cell editable.

It was working for me in the com version of spread that is 3.0 version..Please suggest.

    You could set value to -1 to get rid of the selection (nothing is selected).
Kunal -

You can set up an inputmap for the key combination. The code can go in the Form_Load event...

Dim im As FarPoint.Win.Spread.InputMap
im = FpSpread1.GetInputMap(FarPoint.Win.Spread.InputMapMode.WhenAncestorOfFocused)
im.Put(New FarPoint.Win.Spread.Keystroke(Keys.X, Keys.Control), FarPoint.Win.Spread.SpreadActions.ClearCell)
