Comma in Formulas

I am trying to calculate formulas based on mathematical operators, like "*". When I typed "=2*3" into a cell, the spread showed me the value 6 correctly. However, when I typed "=1,2*0,1", the spread was unable to calculate the result. But, if I replace comma by periods, everything works correctly and the result "0,12" is showed correctly with comma.

Is there some way to configure the spread to understand comma as period in formulas like these? I need it because we use comma in my country and it is important to my users.

No, you can not configure the spreadsheet to use the comma as a decimal separator for numbers in a formula.  The spreadsheet requires numbers in formulas to be entered using a period as the decimal separator (i.e. invariant culture setting for decimal separator).
