Custom Panel on a cell

    Hi,

I was wondering if you could shed some lights on how to add a panel to every row on column 1?

In side this panel will have few textbox and buttons. User can see them straight away on each cell, which means the cell height will be slightly bigger. Use can directly click on the textbox to put something in there and click on the button.

Is this possible to achieve via custom cell type which implements base cell type?

Can you please advise if there is an example that I can referring to?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

With a custom celltype, you can override the PaintCell method to render something in a cell. However this can not be a control. You can override the GetEditorControl to provide a control like you are asking for as the editor of the cell. However, the editor would only show when you go into editmode in the cell. So it does not sound like creating a custom celltype to implement this will work for you.

I would suggest looking at the Farout! sample for sample how to create a custom celltype with ellipses button.
