Hi,

    I am using farpoint spread for win Forms 2.5v, In my application the ctrl-x is somehow is not working. As far as my understanding goes this is a default property of spread.

    I have also put this code in the form - load event

    Dim im As FarPoint.Win.Spread.InputMap

    im = Me.sprBalSheet.GetInputMap(FarPoint.Win.Spread.InputMapMode.WhenFocused)

    im.Put(New FarPoint.Win.Spread.Keystroke(Keys.X, Keys.Control Or Keys.Shift), FarPoint.Win.Spread.SpreadActions.ClipboardCutDataOnly)

    but this is not working.I got the idea to use " Keys.Control Or Keys.Shift" from the link provided below

    http://www.clubfarpoint.com/Forums/forums/thread/15352.aspx

    previously i was using only "Keys.Control" even then also ctrl- x was not working for my spread.

    When i create a test application, ctrl - x is working fine there. but not for my application

    please suggest

    Hello,

    Does the Spread you're using have locked cells? Ctrl + x doesn't work on locked cells. On a locked cell, you can copy, but you can't cut or paste.

    If no, is it possible that you could attach your project or send it to me by email? You can email us at fpsupport@fpoint.com

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Have you tried setting the AutoClipboard property to true?

    fpSpread1.AutoClipboard = True

    Hi,

    Yes that property is also set to true during design time and it is not getting changed at runtime as well.

    Hi,

    In my spread there are however a couple of locked cells but the operation (ctrl-x ) that i am performing is on a cell that is not locked.

    As far as sending the application code is concerned, i am afraind i would not be able to do so as per my companies policies.

    could you help me out without me sending you the code, is there any other way out that we sort out this issue?

    Hi,

    One more thing that i observed just now was that if i put the above written code in my form load event , ctrl-x doesn't work but if i press ctrl-shift -x, it works.

    Hi,

    but ideally ctrl-x should work in the similar fashion as ctrl-shift -x. please suggest

    Hello,

    The behavior you are describing would suggest the inputmapping is handled incorrectly. I would suggest taking a closer look at your code to ensure that you aren't overwriting your input map declarations and that everything is done correctly.

    If nessecary, we can sign a non disclosure agreement if you want to send us your code.
