Hi,

I have a cell with celltype = number cell type.

Now I want to change the cells value but store a different value in the data layer of this cell - I want to have e.g. a (conversion-) factor of 0.5 between data layer and display layer:.

E,g. if I enter a 10 in the cell I want to have a 5 in the cells value (layer).

or I enter a 7 and then I expect a 3.5 in the data layer.

So the ui should show "7" but the data layer should contain "3.5".

Is this possible?

And if yes, how?

Thanks in advance.

csd1304

Hello,

It would not be possible to implement such a scenario in Spread as the cells in Spread saves the same value in the data layer and displays the same in the cell, the only difference is that they save a raw value in the data model while display the formatted value in the cell.

Hope it will help you. Please let me know if you have any queries further.

Thanks,

Manpreet Kaur
