I have some problems when I am using non-English text for the preview of my spreadsheets and the translated texts are not showing properly.  and in the code I am calling this SaveHTML method. so I was thinking if you are aware of any problem with this SaveHTML method? or any way that I can tell it to save it with Unicode encoding?

hi, I am using 5.0 so it is Unicode?

then I should investigate more in my own code, maybe the problem is coming from somewhere else.

    Hi,

What version are you using?  It should use UTF-8 encoding with the latest versions (5.0.XX18.2008, 4.0.XX26.2008).  Please try the latest versions and see if it helps.

    Hi,

If you open the file with Visual Studio with the binary editor (drop down Open button in File Open dialog to "Open With..."), you can tell whether the file is encoded as UTF-8 by checking the first three bytes (EF BB BF).

Are you using v5.0.2018.2008 or v5.0.3518.2008?  You might have an older release of v5.  Resource Portal will say there is an update available if your version is not the latest.

    Hi,

Version 5.0.3511.2008 was released last July.  You can get v5.0.3518.2008 here.

If that does not help, please post a small sample reproducing your problem.
