    You can use the Picture property of the checkbox to display any image you want for the various states of the checkbox.

    I thought I had.  You can use the Picture property to supply your own images for the different states of the checkbox...

    Dim ckbxcell As New
    FarPoint.Win.Spread.CellType.CheckBoxCellType()
    ckbxcell.Picture(FarPoint.Win.CheckBoxPictureIndex.True) = Image.FromFile("..\images\checked.gif")
    ckbxcell.Picture(FarPoint.Win.CheckBoxPictureIndex.False) = Image.FromFile("..\images\unchecked.gif")

    Only the even more difficult route of creating a custom cell type.  I can try and send you the bitmaps if I am permitted to do so.
