Is there a Search function that returns the number of matches instead of the first string

    Hello all,

Is there a Search function that returns the number of matches found instead of the text from the first match? I can get the same thing by setting a RowFilter on a DataView but I'm hoping you guys have a nice slick function to do that. Thanks in advance for any ideas and/or suggestions!

We do not have any search methods that will return the number of matches found in the search.  I believe Scott gave you a similiar explanation for this in this post...

Is there any way to do a compound search (eg Column1='a' and Column3 = 'b')? Thanks in advance for any ideas and/or suggestions!

The Search methods provide for a starting row and column and an ending row and column, but do not provide for differing values for different columns.
