    Hi,

    I am binding 3 level relationship dataset to the FPSpread.

    In our requirement there is no need to dispaly the child records header and also the columns position for the parent and both the child records shoulb be in sync. ( Same header for parent & 2 child records and columns in all the levels shoudls be in same line).

    Child header records we are able to hide but the columns  are not in sync for all the levels and it bit confusing to the end user.

    Can some one please help us to solve this.

    Thanks in advance,

    Vishnupriya

    Hello,

    There is not a way to set the indention of child sheets. The indention is automatically set to the width of the row header in the parent sheet.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

    Is there any way to decrease the first column width (i.e  Displaying the record number with the +/- symbol). And also is there any way to disable the record number in it. I Just want to display +/- symbol with a very little bit width.

    So that User can see all the columns (parent and child) in a same line. Without heading in the child views also it will be bit easy for the users.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello,

    You  may use the following code to set the width for the RowHeader and make "+/-" visible only.

            FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.RowHeader.Columns(0).Width = 20
            FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.RowHeader.AutoText = FarPoint.Win.Spread.HeaderAutoText.Blank

    For the Child view you may use the following code in ChildViewCreated Event if you have 3 level hierarchy,

        Dim csv,  As FarPoint.Win.Spread.SheetView
            csv = FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.GetChildView(0, 0)
            csv.RowHeader.Columns(0).Width = 20
            csv.RowHeader.AutoText = FarPoint.Win.Spread.HeaderAutoText.Blank

    I hope it will help you.

    Thanks,
