    Hello,

    We are using Windows spread. We are developing the application using C#.net.
    We require print set up / print function, that provides

    1. “Fit to 1 or more pages wide” and “1 or more pages tall” functionality

    2. Ability to select the area of the page to print

    3. Ability to select no grid lines

    4. Selection of rows to print at the top or the side

    5. Selecting border sizes

    6. Percentage size adjustment functionality

    How can we do this. Please help in the this.

    Thank you. It is working. But if we give the fit to 4 page tall and 4 page wide in the Mocrosft excel it will give the 16 pages. But where as in the farpoint it is taking only 8 pages. Please help

    sumathi -

    The PrintInfo class has properties for most of your requirements.  There are examples for all of them in the help file.

    You have to use the UseSmartPrint property.

    I'm not sure what you are asking here.  Are you saving the spread to an excel file and if so what is it you are seeing in excel.

    Hello,

     We are not saving to an excel file. If we look at page setup of Excel we will have this option.

    If we slect the option of "Fit to " 4 "pages wide by" 4 " pages tall", then we can see 16 pages in the preview.

    I want the same functionality.

    Where as in farpoint

    pi.SmartPrintPagesTall = 4;

    pi.SmartPrintPagesWide = 4;

    It is showing only 8 pages. How can I achieve teh functionality same as Microsoft Excel page setup.

    I do not know how excel handles its printing capabilities.  Our printing is not based on excels.

    Hello,

    By default, we use a certain percantage that we will zoom the Spread down to to fit the data on a page. If you want to be able to increase the amount of the zoom to get more pages to fit, you need to assign a ScaleRule SmartPrintRule to the SmartPrintRulesCollection.
