Scrolling by clicking on blank part of scroll bar doesn't finish the job...

I spoke with you earlier this week about it.

If the user clicks on the blank portion of the scroll bar (which would normally cause the scroll slider to move a screens width).  Works fine until you get to the point that the slider would be at the very end (the point at which I was actually clicking on the scroll bar).  Not the arrow button, but just the blank portion of the scroll.  I am currently running on 3510.

I was able to reproduce this issue with the earlier release of version 4 of Spread for Windows Forms. However, it looked to be fix in the latest maintenance release. We should be having a new maintenance release for version 3 later this month. Then it would be fixed in version 3.

I am not sure why it looks to be fixed.  I just reproduced it again (in a new project).  All I did was add the grid, then, based on the number of dates in my query, added columns (1 for each date).  Once the columns went off the right side of the window, the problem re-surfaced.  Again, if you click on the portion of the scroll bar that doesn't have the scroll slider, the slider begins to jump towards where you are clicking.  If you have positioned your self right next to the arrow (horizonal) - and continue to click the slider continues to move over as it should.  UNTIL you get to the point that the sliders last jump would put it completely to the right (no scrolling room left).  Then it just sits there, and doesn't respond.  I am using 4.0.3510.  Please advise.

--- An update...I explicitly tested this again, and it does do better than 3509 did, but it still does not behave as a normal windows app does.  It will move all the way to the right when I continue to press on the scroll bar, but when I am to the trouble spot (what should be the last jump), it starts to ekk (technical term) its way over.  Where as 09 just wouldn't move over anymore.  10 does, but not in a normal or standard fashion.

I am not able to reproduce this issue. Could you post a small zipped project reproducing this issue for us to debug?

    Hello Matthew,

In case you are experiencing this issue when there are few hidden/in-visible rows/columns in your control, then the exhibited behavior is the expecetd behavior from the control. A detailed explanation is provided there.

No, we have no hidden rows or columns.

I attached a simple project that exibits the issue to the e-mail, and replied to you.  Just build, and run, and then click on the scroll till you get to the end.

The project you sent is referencing version 4.0.3509 of Spread for Windows Forms and it is working correctly for me to scroll like you want. However, I then upgraded to the 4.0.3510 release and I see the behavior you are speaking of with the scrolling "slowing down" as you get closer to the right. I have reported this as a bug (#25445) for the development team to fix for the next maintenance release.
