Scrolling horizontally with filtered columns hangs application

    Hi,


    I'm having a problem with the grid which causes it to hang. The following steps should reproduce the problem:



    1. Create a 20*20 grid (enough columns so you can't see them all at once)

    2. Ensure that each column has AllowAutoFilter = True

    3. Run up the application and scroll to the very right hand column

    4. Add some dummy entries for a few cells in that column

    5. Filter the column to only a couple of those entries

    6. Scroll back to the left hand column

    I enclose a very simple app, which reproduces this problem.


    We have just recently upgraded to V4 of your grid and this is a big problem for us. Are we doing something wrong, or is there any workaround?


    Any update would be greatly appreciated.

    It took a while, since sometimes this worked, but I was able to reproduce the issue and have reported this as a bug (#22003) for the development team to fix for the next maintenance release.

    Thanks for your quick response.


    Is there any indication of a timescale for this fix, a workaround or a possible hotfix? It's just becuase of the severity of this issue, if we can't work around it we may have to revert back to your old version of the grid for our next release.

    We are planning on getting a maintenance release to fix this and another level 1 bug as soon as possible. It looks to be next week we will have this available. I do not have any way to give you to workaround this issue.
