SearchWithDialogAdvanced - how to ignore hidden cells

I have a spread that hides a number of columns. When the user uses the search functionality (which I use the SearchWithDialogAdvanced), this dialog seems to "find" matching text in the hidden columns. This is somewhat confusing to my clients since they can't see what is being "found".

Is there a way to have the SearchWithDialogAdvanced dialog ignore hidden cells? I can't use the startColumnIndex parameter for this since I do how the first 3 columns which needs to searchable as well (i.e. hidding column index 3 to 50 of 100 columns).

Is there some "text found" event that I can catch and cancel if the matching cell is not visible?

You would need to loop  through all the Rows/Columns to check the Visible state whether it is True or False and then you may skip the matching Text found in hidden Rows and only show the result found in visible Rows.
