    Hi

We are using WinForms spread on our backend both for desktop applications and web (doing a conversion from WinForms to Web). Locally this works fine but when deploying to Azure App Service we get an error for when the WinForms spread is initiated -

“Value ‘-1073741790’ is not a valid value for Interval. Interval must be greater than 0. Parameter name: Interval”

I have attached a simple application from where this can be seen.

    [Spread Version: 11.45.20181.0]

    Regards,

    Mikael

    Hi Mikael,

I would suggest you to please use the MVC version of Spread in your application. Spread .NET contains Spread for ASP.NET MVC which you can use in your application and take full advantages of MVC Server side features.

    Thanks,

    Hi Deepak

Using the Spread for ASP.NET is unfortunately not an option for us at the moment. Our application relies heavily on the WinForms spread and we are converting it to SpreadJS for our web part. This is working fine on OnPremise deployments but if deploying to Azure Web App the spread initialization throws the error mentioned. Would it be possible to check why this is and if it could be easily fixed?

    Thanks,

    Mikael
