Just moved to a new laptop with Windows 7....having issues installing my older Spread 3.0 CD.  When I insert the CD and try to enter the passcodes, the install application just returns to the passcode page and blanks out the two entry boxes.

I have verified that I am entering the correct codes from my license, but it just seems to do nothing to install the components.

I know this is an very old version...my applications run under Windows 7 with the runtime versions.

     Any help would be appreciated.

Do you know which release of v3 you have?  The latest release is v3.0.2010.2005, available here: ftp://ftp.fpoint.com/SpreadWinForms3/spwin3vs05-2010.zip

The User Account Control security in Windows 7 will prevent the setup from accessing the registry unless you run the setup "as adminstrator" by right-clicking and choosing that option in the context menu (or you can turn off UAC in the User Account settings with Control Panel).

If you still have problems using your license codes, please let us know.

Perfect...thanks for all your help.  By running 'as administrator' it looks like it all installed.  Thanks.
