Spread 8 under Windows 7 64 bit with VS2005

    <p>I have searched the forum for help on this. I did find some advice on 'spread 8, .net ' that did not work for me If you simply create a new project and place the control on the form, hit F5 the following error occurs</p><p>as shown below. </p><p>An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details.  The error is: Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))</p><p>The details are: <br></p><p>System.InvalidOperationException was unhandled<br>  Message="An error occurred creating the form.     <p>Hello, </p><p>I would suggest you to please download the latest build for Spread 8 from here and run the installation as an administration on Windows 7 64 bit machine. Also register Spread 8 files using : </p><p>%systemroot%\SysWoW64\regsvr32.exe</p><p>You may also try following steps with the current Vs2005 project:</p><div id=":1ks" class="kl">1.Open project properties</div><div id=":1kt" class="kl">2.Go to compile settings</div><div id=":1ku" class="kl">3.Open advanced compile options</div><div id=":1kv" class="kl">4.Change "target CPU" from "any CPU" "x86".</div><div id=":1kv" class="kl"> </div><div id=":1kv" class="kl">Thanks, <br></div><p> </p><p> </p>
