Spread for Windows 4.0 testing

    I just installed spread for windows 4.0 and ran a small test program to enter numbers into cells. This works fine for 2.5, however for 4.0, when I enter a number into a cell I get an exception message. I am setting the celltypes to:

    NCT = New FarPoint.Win.Spread.CellType.NumberCellType

    NCT.AcceptsArrowKeys = FarPoint.Win.SuperEdit.AcceptsArrowKeys.None

    NCT.DecimalPlaces = 0

    NCT.LeadingZero = CellType.LeadingZero.No

    NCT.MaximumValue = 99999999999999

    NCT.MinimumValue = -99999999999999

    NCT.NegativeFormat = CellType.NegativeFormat.NegativeSignBefore

    I did find if I comment out the NCT.DecimalPlaces line it runs OK but the default celltype is 0.00. Do you think this is a bug and/or can you shed some light on what needs to be done.  I can send you a zip project if needed. Thanks ebw

    Ebw -

    I was able to reproduce this and will write it up as a bug for the development team to address for the next maintenance release.  The issue, however, is not the number of decimal places being set, but rather the LeadingZero being set to No.  If you change it to Yes or Regional your code will work.

    Great. Thanks for the reply. Do you have an estimated time for the next release? Let me know. Thanks. ebw

    We are in the final testing phase and the developers are working on fixing some last minute bugs.  Hopefully it will be out by the end of the month.
