    Hi,

The fpSpread control provides text tips that can be displayed for any header or any cell in the control. Text tips are displayed in ToolTip windows for the header or cell that is under the pointer.

But how do I add a texttip to button celltype?
The user should be able to view a customised message when hovered over the button control

    Thanks

    Berry -

Graphical cells like buttons, checkboxes and comboboxes process the mouse message differently.  You would have to check the cell you are over with the mouse and then you could do something similiar as mentioned in the following thread...

    Hello,

In addition to what Bob stated, you can also create a custom celltype that overrides the IsReservedLocation method. If you are over the point in the rectangle that you want the tooltip to show, then you return null to this override method. If you are over a point that you want the click to click the button, then you return an instance of Me (this in C#) (the CellType object).
