    Is there a way to set the texttip on a sheettab.  Currently, if I hover over the tab it is just showing me the sheet name in the popup box. I would like to be able to set the Texttip of the tab to something.

    Is this possible? I have looked through the forums and help and can not find anything about how to set this.

     Thanks

    Hello,

    Currently, there is no way to achieve the desired fnctionality. However, I have entered an enhancement request for the same and the request id is #99932352. It might be implemented in the future releases of Spread if the development team finds it to be feasible.

    Thanks,

    It seems like there should be some event that is firing when you hover over a tabsheet. Currently it is showing a tiptext when you hover over the sheettab that gives the name of the sheet. Is there a way to tell that you are hovering over a sheettab.  I see there is a mousehover event but I could not find any info on it. Also there is something called the TabStripHitTestInformation
    class but couldn't find much about this either.

    Hello,

    I have already entered a feature request to expose any such events that would help to alter the TextTips for the TabStrip, similar to the TexTipFetch event that is raised, when the texttip is shown in any of the cells. Currently, there is only Mouse Move event that tells you that the mouse is over the TabStrip. Here is the code snippet for the same:

     void fpSpread1_MouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
            {
                FarPoint.Win.Spread.HitTestInformation hti = fpSpread1.HitTest(e.X, e.Y);
                if (hti.Type == FarPoint.Win.Spread.HitTestType.TabStrip)
                {
                  FarPoint.Win.Spread.TabStripHitTestInformation thti = hti.TabStripInfo;
                  listBox1.Items.Add("TabStrip");
                }
            }

    However, it does not provides much information or ways to alter the TabStrip text tip.

    Thanks,

    Manpreet Kaur
