On Print to PDF can we invoke a Print Options pop-up whereby the user
can specify landscape vs portrait, fit to x pages wide x pages tall,
color vs black and white, legal vs letter paper size format, etc.

Also , can we maintain the colors applied to grid in exported pdf file ? I tried one sample with Green color, but it did not persisted. Green turned to black shade.

    Hello,

I would like you to know that by default there is no pop up that appears to set the settings for the Spread before it is printed to pdf, but you can create and display a form of your own, with different radio buttons and checkboxes to get the user's choice. Later, before printing to pdf you could set various properties of the PrintInfo object based on the user input obtained from the form.

Yes, you can export the Spread to pdf with all the colors in the grid, all you need to do is to set the ShowColor property of PrintInfo object to true as this property gets or sets whether to print the colors as they appear on the screen.

Hope it will help you. Please let me know if you have an queries further.

    Thanks,

    Manpreet Kaur.

    Hey thanks Manpreet,

I have created my own form for showing options and colors are persisting in PDF. Just one more doubt, I tried the color check with xls, but I couldn't find the way to do so.

Is it possible with excel file export as well ?

Your help is highly appreciated, thanks.

    Hello,

You can use the SaveExcel method of Spread, to export Spread to excel with all the colors. I have attached a  sample depicting the same, kindly have a look at it. Hope it will help you. Please let me know if you have any queries further.

    Thanks,

    Manpreet Kaur.

Yes it did worked. Sorry it was my mistake. I was setting the row color on some other event. That's why it was not getting applied.

Now it is working. Thank you so much.
