Bug Report: Bullet/Numbering not working when ReturnMode = "SoftLineBreak"

    Just use the richtextbox sample. In the xaml of the richtextbox, please add this code to it:

    ReturnMode="SoftLineBreak"

    Now, try to do bulleting or numbering. When pressing enter to go to the next line, the bullet or number doesn't carry to the next line.

    Please forward this to your development team.

    Many thanks.

    Hello willgreen,

    This seems to be the design behavior of the control since the same behavior is observed in case of MSWord as well.

    When using SoftLineBreaks in MSWord (Shift+ Enter), a new line is created with the item in a bullet or numbered list, without the bullet or the next sequential number in the numbered list. But when using HardLineBreaks in MSWord (only Enter), bullets or the next sequential number in the numbered list gets created.

    Hope it clarifies.

    Regards,
    Reema

    Ok. If this is by design, may I ask how we can remove the extra spacing after each paragraph without SoftLineBreak?

    Nevermind. I just found the defaultparagraphspacing property.
