I entered the trial license key generate from https://www.grapecity.com/en/my-account/create-app-key into C1.Uwp.LicenseManager.Key in the constructor of App.xaml.cs but am getting the message in the subject…

    Hello,

Did you install ComponentOne more than 30 days ago? I am asking this because we offer trial version for a period of 30 days only, so if ComponentOne has been installed for more than 30 days then even after creating a license and embedding it in C1.Uwp.LicenseManager.Key would still display license error. To resolve the issue in such cases, one needs to request for an extension for trial license. So, do let me know if you need that.

However, if your scenario is not the above mentioned one, then I would request you to check that you are using the correct name in the AppName textbox. The correct name should correspond to the Default namespace of your project. I am asking this because for licensing ComponentOne UWP controls all one needs to do is enter the project name in AppName textbox.

If in any scenario the issue still persists, could you please try licensing your application using our licensing utility GrapeCity License Manager in Visual Studio->Tools.

For details on how to use this utility, please refer: http://helpcentral.componentone.com/nethelp/C1StudioUWP/webframe.html#LicensingInformation.html

    Regards,

    Ruchir
