C1ComboBox inside Updatepanel causes Jscript error on autopostback!

    Hello all,

      This is an odd one.  I have a server side C1Combobox inside an updatepanel with autopostback=true.  On postback everything seems fine, the selectedIndexChanged event fires and all is well. On the very next *click* on the combo (to attempt to select another item), it fires off a javascript error that reads: this.getelement() is null or not an object" referring to "this.get_element().value=b;"

    inside the code that begins...

    Type.registerNamespace("C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox");C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox.FilterSetting=function(){};C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox.FilterSetting.prototype={contains:0,startWith:1};C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox.FilterSetting.registerEnum("C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox.FilterSetting",false);C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox.TriggerPosition=function(){};C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox.TriggerPosition.prototype={left:0,right:1};C1.Web.UI.Controls.C1ComboBox.TriggerPosition.registerEnum...

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Regards

    Steve

    hi slugovsky,

    I looked at this issue and found that is was caused by an annoying bug.  This issue is fixed in the new build which will be released in the next few days.
