    Hi all,

I used C1StudioAspWijmo_2012v2 to create a three series line chart and set the stroke and strokeDashArray to “.” for one series. But this one is not displayed in chart. It is only displayed on legend. I have attached some pictures and the application which has this issue.

Is it bugs on C1StudioAspWijmo_2012v2 or some missing configuration on our code? If it is a bugs on C1StudioAspWijmo_2012v2, do we need to uninstall it before upgrading it to the latest released, C1StudioAspWijmo_2013v2?

Any feedback is really appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi all,

For your information, we have upgraded the component one from 2012v2 to the latest version which is 2013v2. The issue still exists. And it happens not only in Line Chart but in another charts, for example Bubble Chart. In bubble chart, the "." dot stroke seems like missing/transparant. Please kindly see the attachment.

So far we only found that the "." dot stroke is missing. Another stroke such as "-", "- ", and "--" can work correctly.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I am not able to replicate the issue related to LineChart strokeDashArray at my end with the latest version of the Wijmo controls i.e. 4.1.20132.129 in IE10 and FireFox.

However, I am able to replicate the issue at my end in Google Chrome. Could you please let me know if you are facing this issue specifically with Google Chrome or any other browser.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Currently we only used Google Chrome. We have not tested application in another browser so that we have no idea whether another browser has the same issue or not.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have escalated the issue related to the C1LineChart to the concerned team. I would let you know as soon as I get any information in this regard.

However, I was not able to replicate the issue related to BubbleChart at my end with the latest version i.e. v3.5.2013.133. Please refer to the attached image. I have also attached the sample used for testing. Could you please modify the attached sample to depict your issue.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

As per the development team, this issue is a limitation. When set "stroke-dasharray" to "." and set "stroke-linecap" to "round", the rendered SVG element will set "0*" to the "stroke-dasharray". In chrome, if "stroke-dasharray" contains 0 value, the element can't display. This issue is reported in this link: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=162424

In our charts, the default value of stroke-linecap is "round". if you want to set the "stroke-dasharray" to ".", you need to change the "stroke-linecap" to "butt". But in this case, the dot of the line is not round.

    Regards
