    We are testing your sample of GridView Column Virtual Scrolling and we do not consider usable for big data sizes like a table with 100000 records, because the time response is too slow. We found that the GridView is saving your sample's datatable in ViewState, so, if you change your sample this way (mind that we changed to 100000 rows):

    namespace ControlExplorer.C1GridView
    public partial class ColumnsVirtualScrolling : System.Web.UI.Page
    private const int ROWS = 100000;
    private const int COLUMNS = 100;

    the response size for the get operations is too large for practical use. Try if you please. We need to work with datatables of that range of number of rows.

    Is there a way to achieve scrolling with large datatables? Please give us a sample and hope to receive your reply.

    We could replicate the issue at our end as well using the latest build of Studio for ASP.NET Wijmo build, 4.0.20151.206. We have escalated the issue to the development team and will let you know as soon as there is any information from them.

    As per the development team, this is a known performence issue. Due to the mechanism of C1GridView, it need to build the tree of control (each cell is a control) ,so there will be a performence limit.

    Unfortunately, we do not have any workaround for this issue currently. We regret the inconvenience caused.
