    Hello,

is it possible to capture a photo direcetly in my iPhone/iPad Browser using the C1Upload Control?

My test device is running iOS 6.1 and should support the <input type=“file” … > attribut to capture images in the browser. ( http://www.aaronlumsden.com/articles/ios6-the-benefits-for-html5-web-app-development/ )

But when I use the C1Upload Control it just opens the gallery. The correct behaviour should be to show a message it I want to capture a new image/video or too choose one from the gallery.

A working example would be (See this screenshot: http://rritw.com/uploads/allimg/2012-09-22/camera.png )

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

This feature is not available in C1Upload control right now. I’ll forward your request to the concerned team as an enhancement.

    Hi,

I’m sorry for the delay. This was missed somehow. I’ve asked the concerned team whether it’ll be possible to implement this and will let you know as soon as I have any updates from them. I apologize for the delay once again.

    Regards

This is actually supported already. iOS 6 only supports the capture photo or video when the input does not have multiple file support.

    See this example: http://jsbin.com/erozav/1

You can achieve this by setting MaximumFiles=“1” on C1Upload.

    Hello,

so the only solution would be to add more upload controls to my webpage right?

    Regards

Yes, if you want multiple file support AND photo capturing you could add multiple Upload Controls.
