    Hi,

any suggestion how to handle dbnull value in Wijmo LineChart?

Currently i am using wijmo version: 3.5.20112.26

Also, there is another problem, i am using some AjaxControlToolkit extenders in wijmo c1GridView but none of them doesn't work.

    Hello Marko,

Currently, we don't have any property/method to handle the dbnull values in Wijmo C1LineChart but I have escalated it to the developer as an enhancement request.

Regarding the other issue i.e. AjaxControlToolkit extenders not working with wijmo C1Gridview, it seems a problem to me as well and I have escalated this issue to the developer for review.

I would update you as soon as I hear anything from them.

    Regards
    Ashish

My lineChart is not showing up if there is any NaN values. I use the latest 2012 version. Let me know if we need to set any property to show Null values in C1LineChart

    Thanks

    Hello Vijay,

I am not clear about your requirement since we cannot display null values on the linechart.
By default, LineChart does not breaks the line when it encounters any null value where null value refers to the value which is defined as Hole value.

But, if you wish to display a continous line irrespective of data hole values then you may set the Display value of that DataSeries to ExcludeHole.

If I misunderstood your query then kindly provide more information on same along with a small sample or image replicating the same.

    Regards
    Ashish

    Hello,

It seems that Wijmo Chart is unable to handle NaN values and I have escalated this issue to the developer for review. I would update you as soon as I hear anything from them.

As a workaround, you may set the null values to any random value , set the Hole property to this random value and then, you may use ExcludeHole option in the Display property of the dataseries.

    Regards
    Ashish

I just downloaded and updated to the Version=4.0.20122.77. Null values are not handled.
I don't get a continues line if there is any null values. Please check this version.

It was ok in 4.0.20121.56 but then the feature broke in this release.

    Thanks

Please don't respond to my previous message. I resolved this using a existing property.

    Thanks

    HI

    Here is the data

    null, null, 3443.334, 343.56

The line chart disappear if I assign double.NaN when the value is null.
What to do if I get null values in the data?

    thanks
