Using Wijmo 5.20172.334, the issue does not exist in 5.20171.293.
When using an auto-complete widget/directive for editing a FlexGrid’s cell value, the auto-complete dropdown does not (always) receive focus properly after first entering one or more characters to the text field and then attempting to focus an item from the dropdown menu using the arrow up/down keys. Instead focus jumps back to the FlexGrid and causes the selected row to be changed and the auto-complete to be dismissed.
- Usually(?) this * “does NOT happen on the first time”
the auto-complete is activated after page (re-)load. - Subsequent attempts to use the auto-complete seem to always result in the selected row being changed and the auto-complete dismissed.
- Also, the issue is not reproduced when the auto-complete is activated/opened by typing in a single SPACE character to the text field OR if the cell-to-be-edited is double clicked using the mouse (min-length=0 causes the dropdown to be opened without any keyboard input).

Steps to reproduce:
- Select a cell in the ‘country’ column on any row.
- Type in a character (other than SPACE) to switch into edit mode and open the auto-complete dropdown.
- Wait for the dropdown to open, then attempt to focus an item in it by using ARROW UP / DOWN keys → Selected grid row will change and the auto-complete will be dismissed.
