Setting filterDefinition for WijmoFlexGridFilter in angular 2 behaving wierdly

  I’m trying to set the filterDefinition for the WjFlexGridFilter Class (angular 2) when my grid is initialized so that data is loaded and filtered by default.
  
  I see filters gettign applied to my data but when I click on the filter Icon in the column and look the records at the filter popup , I see only the filtered items on the popup with checked state and I’m not seeing the remaining records which has to be displayed with unchecked state.
  
  Any one know why this is happening and how to fix this?
