What is difference between selection and select on flexgrid

  I would like to set the grid row. It appears I can use both selection and selected. What is the difference between the two? When do I use one over the other? Are there any others I can use?

  Hi,

  While setting the selection property, it internally calls the select method so there is virtually no difference between the two. The only difference is that when using select() method we can pass an additional boolean parameter which specifies that whether we want to scroll the grid to the new selection or not whereas in the case on setting selection property grid is always scrolled to the new selection.
