    Paste wont work in c1TextBox.

In this forum post. From August, it says that there are a hotfix to fix the paste bug!

    https://www.grapecity.com/en/forums/winforms-edition/paste-in-c1textbox

    How to apply the patch?

When is this available in C1Live?

    Hi Peter,

These hotfix assemblies are not required to be installed on your machine. You can use the new DLL(s) in your existing project by just replacing the existing DLL(s) in ‘References’ of your Project, with 4.0.20172.274 build.

Let me know if you face any issue while doing this.

You would be able to update your current version using C1Live after the release of 2017-V3 which is scheduled for the mid of November, 2017.

    Thanks,

    Pragati

Spent a day on this. Wont compile.

Complains on versions, says it not compatible.

Please, describe a fully functional upgrade process from the 271 build.

We do have seriously problems if paste is not working and cant wait 3 weeks!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Peter!

Please make sure that the hotfix assemblies are unblocked before you use them in your application. To know how to unblock them, you can see solution 1 on the given link:

    https://www.grapecity.com/en/blogs/a-step-ahead-troubleshooting-common-errors-part-i/

Kindly follow the given steps, in order to use hotfix:

    1. Expand the References node in the solution explorer.
    2. Replace the existing C1 assemblies with the corresponding hotfix assemblies.

[ To replace the assemblies follow these steps:

    a. Delete the existing assembly from the project.

    b. Right click on the References node and click on ‘Add References’.

    c. In Reference Manager, Click on the Browse button. And, browse to the local location of hotfix assemblies.

    d. Select the assemblies and add. ]

    1. Close all the Form designers of the project.
    2. Open Licenses.licx, and remove everything after assembly name. Now, it looks like ‘C1.Win.C1Input.C1TextBox, C1.Win.C1Input.4’.
    3. Clean and Rebuild the solution.

Hope this helps you. In case, you still face any issue with this then let me know, along with the screenshot.

    Regards,

    Meenakshi
