I was hoping to use the C1 Editor to create fully marked-up text to be sent to printed in an Active Reports document. However, it seems there are some inconsistencies in the markup code that the C1 Editor uses versus what AR10 supports with its RichTextControl.

Is there a way to set the C1 Editor to operate using the tags that the AR10 RichTextBox supports?

    Hi Mark,

We are checking at our end if this is possible. We would let you know if any results comes up.

Thanks. If it can work in the PageReport's FormattedText control better, that is also a possibility for me. However, when I did a quick test, FormattedText seemed to be even worse.

    Mark,

This is a 'never tested before' scenario. The possibility of this scenario is still under test, but there is a good possibility that these two controls -> AR10 and C1Editor are not compatible. I have asked the C1Editor developer about the tags which could be supported. We might be able to port the document but the interoperability would not be consistent.

    Hi Mark,

C1Editor supports all HTML 4 tags, which is the superset of all the tags AR10RTB uses but the rendering engine of these two textbox are very different, and the ported document would not be consistent . This would not be supported.
