    Hi,

Is there any way I can get the FlexReport designer to scale up to a 4K screen? I have the source code embedded in my application and the sections and data fields look tiny, making the designer almost impossible to use.

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hello Paul,

We opened C1FlexReportDesigner on a machine with 3840x2160 resolution and the sections and fields appeared normally for the reports.

Could you please share the screenshots of the observations along with the system environment details and the designer version being used at your end? This will help us understand the issue further and escalate if the need arises.

    Thanks,

    Esha

    Hi Esha,

Attached is a screen shot of the report designer on my 3840x2160 resolution screen running 250% display scaling. As you can see the fields are extremely small, as are all the sections. In some cases the sections are overlapping each other.

I am not running the standalone designer as this doesn’t give me the flexibility I need loading and saving report definitions to and from a database. Also the standalone designer doesn’t attempt so scale, it simply stretches the interface making it look blurry. I have embedded the source code into my application and am calling this in code from within my application.

    Thanks,

    Paul

For further information, I have Per Monitor High DPI switched on in my application and all forms are set to AutoScaleMode.Font.

    Hi Paul,

The team cannot reproduce the issue with the designer using a hi-resolution monitor.

As we understand that the original issue has been with your app where you use the designer control, please provide a sample that we can build and run. If you want to share it privately, you can create a case on SupportOne: https://supportone.componentone.com

Also, please share more information about your display settings.

    Regards.
