SSRS nested tables/tablixes breaks c1SsrsDocumentSource/C1FlexViewer

    Hi,

    I have an SSRS report that works find in MS reportviewer and the SSRS web portal but generates an error in c1SsrsDocumentSource/C1FlexViewer.

    [ERROR]: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    The problem appears to be related to the nested tables/tablix.

    Further: the error message is displayed in the C1FlexViewer status bar.

    Any chance this can be fixed?

    Hello Adrian,

    Thank you for sharing the report. We are discussing the scenario internally (Internal Tracking ID: 305007). In the mean time, can you confirm as to whether this is the only report containing nested tables/tablixes that causes the issue?

    Hi Adrian,

    Without data, we cannot run the report and cannot reproduce the mentioned error.

    We have created a simple report with nested table which renders fine. The attached report uses standard Northwind database. Kindly run the same at your end and let us know the observations. Also, share a dummy database to be used with your report so that we can replicate the issue and assist you further accordingly.

    Hi, Yes your example does work, but I’ve modified my example to have no external data requirements and it fails. The break point is the 11th record , 10 records work ok but the 11th breaks it. This record has 6 as the column number.Breaking report with nested tables NO DATA REQUIREMENTS.zip
