Pittsburgh, PA – November 16, 2017 GrapeCity, a component solution provider in the Microsoft Visual Studio Partner Ecosystem and Visual Studio 2017 Sim-Ship Partner, today announced significant new software releases for three of its developer product lines: ComponentOne, ActiveReports, and Wijmo. The product releases highlight a renewed focus on cross-platform usability, fast and lightweight footprints, and fully extensible APIs with a knowledgeable and readily available customer support team for the entire product family.

“GrapeCity has our developers on task to create and evolve the most relevant and functional components today,” said Jody Handley, Product Marketing Manager at GrapeCity. “Our new software launches demonstrate a commitment to our customers and a unified brand across the entire GrapeCity product line.”

In the world of .NET, ComponentOne has enhanced data visualization for FlexChart, which adds seven new chart types, including histogram and StepChart variations. A new dashboard demo displays sales and profit comparisons, goals, and top products, showcasing ComponentOne’s modern look and control agility. ComponentOne Studio for Xamarin boasts a new release featuring a project template for Xamarin.Forms, Xamarin.iOS, and Xamarin.Android, along with the ease-of-use FlexGrid enhancements like pull-to-refresh and add-a-row features, among others. In JavaScript news, the new Wijmo UI TypeScript controls fully support Angular v5. The industry’s best Angular UI controls include a fully accessible data grid, rich declarative markup, and IntelliSense in Visual Studio Code, with no dependencies. GrapeCity’s ActiveReports has shipped its next major release: ActiveReports 12 and ActiveReports 12 Server. Developers now have the ability to combine unlimited related datasets from different data sources with the Dataset Joins Feature. Report authors can now combine related datasets from a CRM, SCM, or ERP in nested Tables, Tablix, and other data regions using expressions in ActiveReports 12.

Great news for GrapeCity’s Spread! Spread Studio is now Spread.NET, and along with SpreadJS, will release a fully-updated set of controls on November 29, 2017. Look for an announcement on that date.

GrapeCity’s developer products continue to provide developers even more options for creating rich and interactive applications across all platforms; stay tuned.
