I would like to get more information about deployment architecture of ActiveReports.NET. There is little or no information can be found on Web site.

Our plan is to create reports using ActiveReports.NET by developers using Visual Studio and the provided controls. If our primary usage is to generate batch reports instead of interactive reports, do we need to deploy some sort of runtime components, e.g. reporting server, to VM(s) which are going to generate reports, or we can just embed ActiveReports.NET class library into our code and deploy our applications as normal .NET Core applications?

    Hi Ricky,

    >> do we need to deploy some sort of runtime components This is not necessary you can use ActiveReports Class Libraries in your project to generate, view, export or print reports at runtime. I would suggest you to go through the Samples and How To section of our documentation to have a better understanding of how you can use ActiveReports in your application:

GitHub Samples: Desktop Samples: https://github.com/activereports/Samples16 Web Samples: https://github.com/activereports/WebSamples16

Let us know if you need any other information or have any doubts. We’ll be happy to help you get started with your application.
