Upgrade from ActiveReports v10 to ActiveReports v14

    I have reports in the Report Server for ActiveReports v10 and need to upgrade to ActiveReports v14 so I can import them into Wyn Enterprise. I do not have these reports in a Visual Studio project. What is the process to upgrade the reports properly? When I download the report from the Report Server using ActiveReports v10 Designer and save it as a file, then open it in ActiveReports v14 Designer there is no data connection or option to choose a data connection. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello Steve,

    We don’t have ActiveReports Server corresponding to AR14. Wyn and AR14 are now completely different products. You can’t use them now as you used before. You can create the Page/RDL report in both products. Also, you can create the report in AR14 and upload it to Wyn Server. But you can’t use the Wyn Dataset in the AR14 as you used in AR10.

    Request to please share your complete requirement so that I will suggest you to go further on this.

    I understand what you are saying. However, how do I get an existing AR10 Report into Wyn? I was lead to believe that I had to upgrade the AR10 Report to the current version (AR14) then it could be dropped into Wyn. Can you provide any assistance as to the correct way to get an AR10 report into Wyn?

    Hello Steve,

    I am assuming you want to migrate from AR10S to Wyn. Therefore, I am escalating this to our development team(GEF-5020) and will inform you once I get any information from them.
