I upgraded my website to Visual Studio 2022, .net framework 4.7.2. I have Active Report 16 installed on my machine. I see as installed product in Vs 2017, but not in vs 2022. I don’t see report explorer in toolbar.

    Hi Nimisha,

This issue occurs as at the time of installing ActiveReports 16 you may not have VisualStudio 2022 installed or did not ‘tick’ the checkbox for ‘VisualStudio 2022 integration’ in the ActiveReports 16 installer, due to which the ActiveReports 16 VisualStudio integration did not get installed in your VisualStudio 2022.

To fix this issue please go to the following location:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\GrapeCity\ActiveReports 16\VisualStudio
    and install
    GrapeCity.ActiveReports.VisualStudio2022.vsix
this will install the ActiveReports 16 integration for your VisualStudio 2022.

Now you may add ActiveReports 16 Report Explorer and other windows by going into ‘View > Other Windows’ in your VisualStudio 2022 and adding ‘Report Explorer 16’.

    Regards,

    Anand
