  Hi,

  I have use the canEdit property to not show the Edit button for both DataSource and DataSet on the pre-defined data sources. It is working when I create a new report.

  However, once I save it, and reopen the saved report, the edit button is appearing. Is it possible to hide the edit button for both DataSource and DataSet, when I open a saved report definition.

  Unfortunately, there is no a built-in method that allows hiding the Edit button. However, you could apply a brute-force solution by finding out the CSS selector of the Edit button and applying the “display:none” style for this selector in your application.
