  Currently, it appears that ActiveReportsJS only supports the display of data in a Down then Across Format when using multiple columns and there is not an option to change this like previous versions of ActiveReports from what I have seen on neither the Table or Tablix components. If there is, can you provide instructions or an example where data flows in an Across Down format? Or provide a viable alternative solution.

  Example:
  
  I want the user to be able to select T-shirt and Short sizes either using a series of checkboxes or just labels. The sizes displayed are dynamic based on the product and the type of user so it can’t be hard-coded.

  Should display on the screen similar to below:

  T-Shirt Size:
  
  __ XS __ S __ M __ L __ XL __ XXL __ XXXL

  Short Size:
  
  __ S __ M __ L __ XL __ XXL

  ---

  Currently I can only do the following from what I have seen (which takes up to much real estate)

  To implement such a scenario you could use two instances of a Tablix report item with the dynamic column group and static row. The sample is attached.

  This is closer however still not quite what I am looking to do. The product label and the sizes are both dynamic. I tried to take your example and work with it but I still can’t get the data to show a dynamic product label on top and then a dynamic list of sizes on the bottom that has to fit within a 3.75 x 1.4 inch area. I have attached a screenshot of what we were able to produce in the standard version of ActiveReports for our legacy product. The area seen is actually a sub-report that gets added to a parent report. The example seen in the screenshot is only two products but it could be 3 or 4 depending on certain variables. We also in certain situations need to be able to “pre-select” a size which I’m scratching my head on how to even approach that within this tablix component. Any additional assistance is greatly appreciated.

  Could you provide us with a sample of data that contains products and sizes?
