  Is there a functionality available currently where I can achieve dynamic drill down by calling API when toggle button is clicked?

  I am not sure what exactly you want to achieve, could you explain it in a bit more detail?

  Is there a way to implement drill down in the same report by click the + icon/ toggle button by calling API.
  
  For example : I have a list of names. Each names has a table which is hidden. When the user click on toggle field/ + icon the table opens up. Is there a click handler available , when user clicks on + icon, I will make an API call and populate the table data dynamically?

  There is no +/- icon click handler, the drill-down functionality is fully automated. However, you can add +/- icon in a report manually and bind its action to a drill-through report with a parameter that will drive the table displaying.
