    Hi,

Is there a way to render HTML passed in as a parameter in ActiveReportsJS? This is key to our solution working (using Vue.JS and a text editor to add notes).

I dug around and saw that there use to be a SuperLabelField for the old C1Reports. Is this something available in ActiveReportsJS? Or is there another solution I can utilize?

    Hello,

There is no way to achieve the same in the ActiveReportJS. However, you can use the ActiveReports Professional to your requirement. You can use the FormattedText control to show the HTML content:

ActiveReports Professional has JSVIewer through which you can see the report in the vue.JS. However, you need .Net FW/.Net Core back end service as it not a completely client-side product.

Please refer to the following link for more information:

If you need a completely client-side product, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Hi Mohit,

Thanks for the response. Is there a way to convert a ActiveReportsJS file into one compatible with ActiveReports Professional?

Also, when you state we can view the report in vue.JS, is there still a way to update the report in vue.JS based on parameters passed to the report?

Furthermore, are there any plans to have ActiveReportsJS get the feature for viewing HTML content?

    Thanks,

    Noah

    Hello,

Is there a way to convert a ActiveReportsJS file into one compatible with ActiveReports Professional?

Sorry to mention that there is no way, you need to do it manually. However, the way of creating the report is the same in both products. You do not find any difficulties to create a report in ARP

Also, when you state we can view the report in vue.JS, is there still a way to update the report in vue.JS based on parameters passed to the report?

Yes, you can pass the value to report through JSViewer and it will render the report as per parameter value.

Furthermore, are there any plans to have ActiveReportsJS get the feature for viewing HTML content?

Yes, we have a plan for this but currently, there is no ETA for this.

    Thanks,

    Mohit
