  Hello,

  We know this is an old component, but we need to work on an old project within VB6 with some TrueDBGrid inside.
  
  We are trying to migrate our project from an old computer with XP to a new computer.
  
  Unfortunately we are not able to correctly register the TrueDBGrid 8 in this computer.

  We did register with regsvr32 the tdbg8.ocx file and the process went fine, but opening the project gives always this kind of error:

  Class TrueDBGrid80.TDBGrid of control TDBG1 was not a loaded control class

  Can you please provide help? We believe to have the newest tdbg8.ocx available on the computer, but it seems that we may have to register. Can we move some registry information from one computer to another?

  Hi,

  There are two things that I would like you to check:

  1. The control is properly registered on your machine. Make sure that you run command prompt as administrator and register all the ocx files one by one using regsvr32 utility.
  2. This could be one of those instances where you are registering a
     
     different version as compared to the one you are using in your project.
