Hello, We purchased a license to use the component one software to add in a VS Flexgrid for an Access Database. We are trying to figure out how to install the OCX file and register it so the end user of the database can see the application in use. We are placing the file “vsFlex8.ocx” into the c:\Windows\syswow64 folder and using the regsvr32 to register it

    Hi,

You can follow the steps mentioned in this blog article in order to properly register control on your machine:

I would also like to mention that VSFlexGrid Pro has not been tested for use in VBA environment. In fact, use of VSFlexGrid with VBA may give rise to certain problems since VBA does not support runtime caching of licensed controls as it is a non-standard container which does not support licensing. There is a separate license (non standard container license) to be purchased to use the ActiveX controls under the VBA environment. Please check with the sales team for more information on

Thanks for the response. We tried the above techniques but it did not help our issue. Is there a direct contact with Grapecity that we could contact to help resolve this issue? Thanks.
