Posted 22 August 2018, 4:27 am ESTGreetings,
We are using an old version of Data Dynamics Reports v1.6.2260.3.
Some of our reports when ran over a large time frame consume an usually high amount of memory ( > 2GB). There are more than 700 pages rendered in the report viewer at once, so I can sympathize with some of the memory usage - although > 2GB is a bit much.
This particular report is just a simple matrix. There are no images or anything like that... We are populating it with ~70k rows of data organized into 7 columns.
There are some footers/page numbers rendered to each page, but removing them didn't seem to make a difference.
(1) Is this normal?
(2) Are there any options to defer the execution of all 700 pages at once and maybe lazy load them as the page buttons are clicked?
(3) Are there any options to detect a large page count ahead of time and then only load a subset of data?
Any other ideas on how this can be mitigated?
